I remember falling asleep as my dad, sitting in the hall between me and my brothers’ room, told us stories. He would tell us about the time the cow stepped on the roof of his underground fort, and how he experimented with crayons in the dark. He also told us about the time his dad had a run in with a bobcat and when his grandpa rode a bull to church. We always wanted to hear another Daddy story.... which of course never had anything to do with not wanting to go to bed...

My vision is to help the “daddy stories” in every family be passed on to the next generation (and the next) in a physical format. My hope is that it will allow grandchildren to get to know their grandparents (and other ancestors) in a personal way, even those who they will never meet, by allowing some of the faith, courage, bravery and quirks to show through in their stories.
